 About Château de Beaurepaire:
The toponym of the château is attested since 1410. The first known owner is, at the beginning of the 16th century, Jean du Pin, receiver of the king in Loudun. More recently, the château was the residence of René Monory, President of the French Senate (1992-1998). Today, Beaurepaire is reimagined as a center for contemporary art.
